Common Problems and Solutions for Fresh Air System Installation!
—The poor installation of the fresh air system could make the new house dangerous.
Problem 1: Wind noise disturbs sleep
The crux: No noise reduction was done during installation.
Our acoustic air duct is designed for solving such problem. Check here:

Answer: Some owners complained that since the installation of the fresh air system, they have not had a good night’s sleep, and they are disturbed by the noise of the air outlet every night. This is a typical case of no noise reduction treatment during installation. When the wind is just sent into the pipeline from the fan, due to the large air volume, strong wind force, and strong friction with the pipeline, wind noise will be generated. If left untreated, noise can be piped into the room and disrupt life. Under normal circumstances, the owner should not hear any sound, and can only feel the breeze when he is close to the air outlet.
Problem 2: Fresh air is installed but there is no air.
The crux: pipes plus tees, random series
Answer: A normal fresh air system will be equipped with a distribution box during installation. The distribution box will connect the pipes to each room. At the same time, there will be an air volume regulating valve on the distribution box to ensure that the air volume delivered by each room matches the room area and the living population. The air volume is constant. The informal installation is to lead the main pipeline directly from the main engine, install a tee pipe on the main pipeline, and connect it to each room to form a series system of pipelines. The resulting problem is that there is wind in the room close to the main pipe, and the farther away the air volume becomes smaller until there is no wind.
Question 3: The new house becomes dangerous due to the use of pipelines
The crux of the problem: randomly punching holes in the beams.
Answer: In fact, the fresh air system should be designed in place together with the water circuit and sewer pipes in the early stage of house construction. However, the installation of fresh air in China is only considered during decoration. The resulting problem is that the beams cannot be avoided when designing the pipes. If the pipe runs under the beam, it will inevitably affect the appearance, but if it passes through the beam, it will affect the load-bearing structure of the house and make the new house a dangerous house. The installation of the fresh air system first requires the designer to come to the door, judge whether it is suitable for installing fresh air according to the structure of the house, and then design the most reasonable installation plan, avoiding the load-bearing structure of the house as much as possible.

Question 4: Pipe diameter changes.
The crux of the problem: avoid the influence of the ceiling on the floor height.
Answer: The normal fresh air system uses 160mm pipes, but such thick pipes are installed on the roof and then beautified through the suspended ceiling, which will inevitably affect the floor height. Therefore, many merchants will reduce the diameter of the pipe during installation, and use a pipe diameter of 120mm or even smaller. The problem brought about by this is that the wind pressure increases, the friction force increases, and the noise increases, which will directly affect the air supply volume. Another reason for diameter reduction is to install through the beams, by reducing the diameter of the pipes, thereby reducing the size of the holes made on the beams.
Question 5: The fresh air has a peculiar smell.
Crux: The air intake is close to the source of the odor.
Answer: Some owners reported that there is often a smell of oily smoke in their homes. Only after inspection did they find that the air inlet of the fresh air system is next to the smoke exhaust pipe of their own house, and some owners’ air inlets are next to the boiler room. The fresh air system can only filter the dust and impurities in the air, but it cannot purify the smell. Therefore, when installing, pay attention to that the air inlet must be at the upper air outlet, and at the same time keep away from the source of peculiar smell. The distance between the air inlet and the air outlet should be at least 80-100cm apart to avoid sending the freshly discharged air back into the room.
